Over the weekend we attended another annual Curl for Cancer fundraiser in our community. Mark, Kyle, Lawrence, Brian and Tyler kindly contributed their time Friday evening and Saturday to play for Team BWS!

The Florenceville Curling Club hosted 30+ teams made up of different local businesses, families and clubs. Like many Canadian communities, Carleton County has experienced high rates of cancer, with the disease affecting many families in the area.

This year, we donated a BWS Garden Bench to raise funds for the cause. With raffle ticket sales and donations, the event raised over $20,000.00 for cancer research!
