Some people stay at a job. Some people grow with a company.
And some people — like Shelley Holmes — become part of its DNA.
This year, we’re celebrating something special at BWS: Shelley Holmes marks 25 years with our team. Her journey began as a practicum student during an office training course. Today, she plays a key role in our sales department. Along the way, Shelley built her career on hard work, heart, and quiet determination — always eager to learn, grow, and connect.
It’s impossible to talk about Shelley Holmes’ 25-year journey at BWS without talking about perseverance and passion.
She first stepped into our small plant on Montana Street when BWS was still finding its footing — and so was she. But over the years, as the company grew into the thriving manufacturer we are today, Shelley grew with it. She adapted, took on new challenges, and stayed grounded in who she is.
From answering phones to building trailer knowledge part by part, to now helping customers across the country — Shelley’s path was carved through curiosity and commitment. She didn’t just land in sales — she earned it. Whether it meant working in the parts room to understand how a trailer fits together, or walking the production floor asking the right questions, Shelley made sure she knew her stuff. And that knowledge? It shows, every day.
When asked what’s stayed constant throughout her 25-year journey at BWS, Shelley doesn’t hesitate:
“The people. BWS has always felt like home. I’ve gained friends, a support system, and a second family.”
That spirit — of respect, of motivation, of learning together — is what we work to build every day. And Shelley’s been a living, breathing example of it for two and a half decades. She says what she loves most about her job is problem-solving and working with people. And it shows — whether it’s with coworkers, customers, or helping someone new find their place, Shelley brings the same calm, thoughtful energy into every conversation.
So yes, 25 years is a big milestone.
But what really makes it remarkable is everything Shelley’s poured into it — her grit, her heart, and her belief that mistakes are part of the process, as long as you keep learning.
Shelley, We appreciate you. And we’re so lucky to have you as part of the BWS family.
Here’s to a great 25-year journey — and the road still ahead.
Thank you, Shelley.
